Creating a World Without Limits Since 2004: Our Mission and Commitment to the Autism Community
Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, grow, and reach their fullest potential. At Behavior Frontiers, this belief is at the heart of everything we do. As we celebrate Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, we want to take a moment to share who we are, why we do what we do, and the profound impact we strive to make in the lives of families of children with autism.
Why Our Work Matters
Autism is more common than many may realize. Today, 1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with autism. Yet, despite growing recognition, many families still struggle to access the high-quality support their children need. Parents face long waitlists, uncertainty about therapy options, and the challenge of navigating a complex healthcare system.
At Behavior Frontiers, we exist to change that. Our mission is to ensure that children with autism receive the expert care, guidance, and support they need to develop life-changing skills, build independence, and thrive in everyday life.
Autism Acceptance Month is about more than raising awareness—it’s about fostering understanding, promoting inclusion, and ensuring that all individuals with autism have access to the support and opportunities they deserve.
Who We Are
Behavior Frontiers was founded by our CEO, Helen Mader, BCBA, on the belief that every child with autism deserves the opportunity to live in a world without limits. We are a team of highly trained behavioral specialists dedicated to providing personalized, science-backed ABA therapy that helps children build essential communication, social, and daily living skills.
Our approach is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a research-driven therapy proven to help children with autism make meaningful progress. Whether in-center, in-home, in-school, or in-community, we offer tailored therapy programs designed to meet the unique needs of each child in over 65 regions across 12 states (and growing!).
What We Do
At Behavior Frontiers, we offer comprehensive ABA therapy focused on helping children with autism gain independence, confidence, and critical life skills. Our programs are designed to:
Improve communication and social skills
Increase independence in daily activities
Promote positive behaviors and emotional regulation
Prepare children for school and beyond
Each plan is customized to the child’s individual needs, ensuring they receive the best possible support unique to them. Our team works closely with families, empowering them with the tools and strategies needed to support their child’s progress beyond ABA.
Why We Started This Mission
When Behavior Frontiers was founded, there was a clear need for accessible, high-quality ABA therapy. Families were struggling to find reliable support, and children were missing critical early intervention opportunities.
We knew there had to be a better way—one that combined clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a commitment to each child’s unique journey.
That’s why we created Behavior Frontiers: to bring hope, progress, and empowerment to children with autism and their families. Our mission is not just to provide therapy but to create meaningful change that lasts a lifetime, so every child can live a world without limits.
Why Autism Acceptance Month Matters
Autism Acceptance Month is about more than awareness—it’s about action. It’s about breaking down barriers, ensuring access to essential therapies, and advocating for a world where individuals with autism are supported, understood, and embraced.
At Behavior Frontiers, we are committed to:
Advocating for early intervention and access to high-quality care
Providing families with the knowledge and resources they need through comprehensive parent training and meetings.
Creating therapy programs that are not only effective but also compassionate and individualized.
