Did you know that recent California law mandates that most health insurance plans cover ABA treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder? Behavior Frontiers has contracts with health plans so that we can provide this medically necessary treatment to children with autism spectrum disorder. School District Services

Behavior Frontiers is also certified by the California Department of Education as a nonpublic agency to provide behavior intervention design (BID) and behavior intervention implementation (BII) to school-aged children with autism and other special needs. A BID staff member is essentially the behavior supervisor who assesses the student’s behavioral needs and who designs a behavior intervention plan for the student. A BII staff member is the equivalent of a behavior instructor who works one-to-one with the student to carry-out the behavior intervention plan. Both staff members are essential for a student to receive effective ABA services.

 

Regional Center Services

We provide ABA services for children through California Regional Centers. California Regional Centers are nonprofit private corporations that contract with the California Department of Developmental Services to provide or coordinate services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Jessica Torres, M.S., BCBA

Clinical Director - Moreno Valley Region

Jessica Torres studied at California State University, San Bernardino, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Jessica continued her education by attending National University, where she graduated with Honors earning her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. In April 2021, Jessica became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Jessica is dedicated to helping families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related developmental disabilities. She has worked in the field of ABA implementing Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Verbal Behavior (VB), Natural Environment Teaching (NATs) methods, Functional Communication Training (FCT), and various Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Systems, within the home, school, and community settings.

Jessica thrives to provide high-quality services, and individualized treatment programs for each of her clients as well as provides ongoing collaboration with her clinical teams and families. Moreover, she is dedicated to continuing a deeper understanding of scientific-based practices. Furthermore, she is dedicated to providing ongoing staff training so each individual can continue providing high-quality ABA treatment for the client and their family, to their individual needs.
